Formulation and registration of products
What are the requirements and procedures for creating an individual formula?
If you already have a formula, you need to provide it to us with clearly described ingredients and their quantities. We will then technologically adapt it to the chosen form – capsules, tablets, powder, etc.
If you don’t have a formula ready yet, we can offer you a complete formula creation service. We work with a team of professional nutritionists, physicians and doctors of nutritional supplements, medicines and herbs who will develop your product according to your needs and goals. We will also take care of all the paperwork that is required for registration and marketing.
What are the requirements and procedures for registering an individual formula?
Each formula must be registered with the BDA. If the formula was created by us, we can assist with all the documentation and registration process.
How much does the recipe cost?
In order to give an accurate price, you need to send us all the raw materials with milligrams, how many daily doses there will be, what packaging you want it to be in, what form the product will be in and we will be able to give a specific price.
Can you make a recipe?
Yes, we can make a recipe. The price for developing a recipe by our technologist is 300 euros excluding VAT for recipes with up to 10 raw materials and 450 euros excluding VAT for recipes with more than 10 raw materials.
Can you look at my recipe and correct or improve it?
Yes, we can correct and look at your recipe. The price for a recipe review by our technologist is 300 euros excluding VAT for recipes with up to 10 ingredients and 450 euros excluding VAT for recipes with more than 10 ingredients.
Do you optimize doses and flavors?
We can optimize doses, but we will not be able to help with the taste.
What is the technological documentation?
The technological documentation collects the entire product file with information such as: what raw materials are used, what kind of vial, what color are the capsules, etc.
What is RFSD registration?
RFSD registration is a registration of your company as a distance food retailer. It allows you to sell legally online. This applies only to Bulgaria.
What certificates do you have?

Do you have a Kosher certificate?
We do not have a Kosher certificate.
Do you have a Halal certificate?
We do not have a Halal certificate.
Are there any restrictions on the forms of minerals you accept (chelates, oxides, citrates)?
No, there are no restrictions on the forms.
Do you work with organic raw materials (certified "organic")?
Yes, it can be made with organic raw materials, but you should know that the price is sometimes 2-4 times higher than standard raw materials.
Do you use liposomal raw materials?
Yes, we work with liposomal raw materials.
Do you have the option for BIO/Organic certification?
We have a BIO certificate, but you should know that organic raw materials are more expensive and the final product can be about 2-4 times more expensive.
What is the validity of the batch of raw material that I can supply?
It doesn’t matter to us, you just have to keep in mind that the shelf life of the product depends on the raw material with the shortest shelf life. That is, if you bring us raw material that has 6 months of shelf life left, the final product will have a shelf life of 6 months.
Do you perform a regulatory compliance check on the label?
Yes, such a check is performed.
Can a QR code be added to a laboratory analysis?
It can be added if the laboratory analysis is paid additionally.
Do you help with the preparation of claims?
Yes, we have a team that is familiar with the regulatory requirements and can help with their preparation.
Can you help with registration in other countries outside the EU?
If you want to register the product in a country outside the EU, we cannot help, as we are not competent for the regulatory requirements in other countries.
Production
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for an individual formula and for products from your portfolio?
For products from our catalogue MOQ is 500 pieces (jars/PET packs). For individual formulas the MOQ is again 500 pieces.
Where are your products manufactured?
In Radomir, Sofia.
Where are your ingredients from?
We source ingredients from around the world from established suppliers with Certificates of Analysis (COA).
What is the lead time for manufacturing an individual product after a confirmed order?
The standard time is 5-6 weeks for standard packaging (plastic jars or PET packaging). Delays are possible if we use more special packaging or there are missing ingredients.
What is the lead time for private label products?
The same – 5-6 weeks if all ingredients are available.
Do you offer overseas delivery?
Yeah.
What is the cost of production?
Yeah.It depends on the quantity to be produced and the type of product, but around 2 euros/excl. VAT.
What is the minimum order quantity?
500 pcs of the final product.
How much does production with my recipe cost?
It depends on the quantity to be produced and the type of product, but around 2 euros./excl. VAT.
Are there any additional fees for the first order?
There are no additional fees. There are additional services for the first product, which are registration with the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency, creation of technical documentation and registration of you as a distance food trader if you are going to sell online.
Do you supply the raw materials?
In most cases, we supply the raw materials.
Where do the raw materials come from?
It depends on the quantity. For smaller batches, they are almost always from China. For larger batches, we purchase raw materials from Germany, Italy, France and Italy.
Can it be produced with my raw material and what are the requirements?
Yes, there is no problem with producing with raw material from you. You only need to know that we need a certificate of analysis and a declaration of conformity so that we can put them into our HACCP certified production.
How many times can a tasting or taste test be done before packaging?
We currently do not provide samples of products before packaging.

How far can you send orders?
We can send your orders to a licensed food storage warehouse. In most cases, these are fulfillment centers.
What is a fulfillment center and which ones should I work with?
A fulfillment center is a warehouse that sends shipments for you. They make the whole process much easier.

What are the methods of receipt?
Shipping by courier to your preferred address or pick up on site.
What are the payment methods?
The payment is as follows: 60% in advance and 40% before sending the finished product.
Is a new company needed to sell the supplement?
If you have an existing company, you don’t need to open a new one just for this activity.
What is the minimum and maximum volume of the series?
The minimum volume is 500 pcs of the final product. There is no maximum volume.
How many different products can be produced simultaneously?
The factory has multiple machines and we can produce 18 products at the same time. We can produce over 100 products per day.
Can the mixing of powder formulas be "cold blend", without heat treatment?
Yes, we mix the raw materials without heat treatment.
What is the minimum percentage of production losses?
Production losses vary depending on many factors, but on average it is around 3-7%
Do you have a fluid bed granulator?
No, we do not have such a granulator.
How many capsules do you produce per minute?
We have several capsule machines that produce 9100 capsules per minute.
Can microencapsulation be done?
No, we do not have such machines.
Do you have the ability to flavor powders after granulation?
Can a flavoring agent be added after granulation and then mixed again.
Can double encapsulation (capsule in capsule) be done?
No, we do not have such a machine.
What is the permissible deviation in the weight of a capsule or tablet?
The permissible deviation in weight is up to 5%.
What is the maximum diameter/thickness of your tablets?
The maximum diameter is 12mm and the maximum thickness is 6mm.
Can the tablets be film-coated?
The tablets can be film-coated, with an additional cost for the service.
Do you have equipment for effervescent tablets?
No, we do not have a machine for effervescent tablets.
What is the percentage of friability of the tablets?
We work according to the pharmacopoeial standard and the friability is 1%.
What standard molds do you have for the tablets (diameter, shape - oval, round)?
We work with round, dome-type tablets.
Are there additional fees for complex formulas (with many active ingredients)?
No, there is no additional fee for this.
Are there additional fees if we want a separate line just for our product?
No, there is no separate fee for this.
Do you store raw materials at a specific temperature (coenzyme Q10, probiotics)?
Yes, they are stored according to the recommendations of the raw material manufacturer.
What types of capsules do you support: HPMC, pullulan, gelatin, acid-resistant?
We only keep HPMC in stock, but we also work with others, but there are minimum quantities for ordering.
Do you provide pilot batches (small production before the main order)?
The minimum quantity is 500 pcs. Below that, it is not possible to produce.
Do you offer accelerated stability testing?
No, we do not do accelerated stability testing.
Do you check the solubility of powder formulas?
No, solubility testing is not done.
Do you do uniformity testing for tablets and capsules?
No, solubility testing is not done.

Do you perform uniformity tests on tablets and capsules?

Do you have warehouse space for temporary storage after production?
Our warehouse space for finished products is limited. They can be stored temporarily for a fee of 5 euros per day.

Can a trial batch of 200–300 bottles be made just for market testing?
No, the minimum production is 500 pcs.
Can a product be produced in two flavors in the same order?
Yes, no problem. Then the minimum quantity will be 1000 pcs (500 per product)
How many grams is the minimum dose that can fit in a tablet?
There is no minimum dose. The difference is covered by fillers.
Can a slow-release tablet be made?
We can film the tablets.
What is the maximum amount of inulin that can be compressed into a tablet?
400 mg for a 12 mm tablet.
Can you help with CFU calculations for probiotic formulas?
Yes, no problem, we can help with the calculations.

How are losses calculated for heat-sensitive ingredients?
We do not use heat treatment in the production process.
Packaging
What packaging options do you offer?
Most common: HDPE powder jars and glass jars or PET capsule packaging. We also offer doy-packs (with printing or stickers) and sachets (sticks) in cardboard boxes.
Is it possible to get a sample from a label or package?
No – because they are supplied by external companies. We can send specifications and photos.
Can you print our logo on the packaging?
Yeah. Your logo is printed on the label as well as on the doypacks and boxes.
Do you create the label design?
No. The design is provided by the customer. But we can assist with template and binding texts.
What capsules do you use? Do you have soft capsules?
We use vegan capsules as standard, and gelatin capsules can also be ordered upon request, with the minimum quantity being 100,000 capsules per order. This also applies to other colors. There are some colored capsules that have a higher minimum quantity. Soft capsules are possible for orders over 5000 products.
There are also acid resistant capsules, which are also made to order for orders over 100,000 capsules minimum quantity.
How many capsules or tablets are collected in one blister?
1 blister contains 10 tablets of 12 mm size, 10 tablets of 9 mm size and 20 tablets of 6 mm size.
The differences in the tablets are that 12 mm collects up to about 600 mg of raw materials, 9 mm up to about 300 mg, 6 mm up to about 100 mg
What types of sachets do you offer?
We offer 2 types of sachets. Those that are 4-sided closed, that is, they have a seam on all 4 sides, and those that are 2-sided closed, which are like a 3-in-1 coffee type.
The 4-sided closed ones come in 2 sizes: 55×97 mm and 80×100 mm
The 2-sided closed ones are 35 x 110 mm
What are the dimensions of your blisters?
We have this size blister: 95 x 35 mm (height x width)
What weight can the sachets be?
For 4-sided sealed bags with a size of 55×97 mm, it is up to 5 g of raw material, the others are 80×100 mm and are up to about 15 g of raw material.
For 2-sided sealed bags, it is up to about 15 g of raw material.
Can capsules be placed inside a sachet?
Capsules can be placed inside a sachet, as this is manual labor and is more expensive and is calculated additionally.
How many capsules can be placed in one sachet?
It depends on the sachet, but we have put 30 capsules in a sachet.
Can capsules be placed in a blister?
We currently do not have such a punch for our blister machine.
What is the punch for blisters?
Imagine the punch as a cookie cutter. With it, the machine makes holes in PVC foil so that the tablets can then go inside.
How many slots does the blister have?
Our blisters have 3 slots.
Is there silica gel?
We do not put silica gel as standard, it can be added additionally for a fee of 0.3 EUR.
Can a measuring spoon be added to a powder product?
A measuring spoon can be added for an additional fee of 0.3 EUR.
What is the label standard?
The standard label for a 150 ml bottle is 56/155mm.
What material should the label be?
The label can be made of any material you wish. The standard is polypropylene.
How many labels should there be on one roll of labels?
Our machine can have up to 3500 labels on 1 roll of 56/155 mm labels.
Can the customer supply their own labels?
It is possible, but keep in mind that our machine is automatic and thinner material may be torn. In this case, you will either have to pay for manual labeling at a price of 0.4 EUR/label or apply them yourself.
Can you provide the labels?
Yes, in 99% of cases we provide the labels.
Can I provide the packaging?
You can provide the packaging, no problem.
What are the conditions if I provide the packaging?
We will send all the texts that you can put on the label.
What can be written on the back label?
We will send all the texts that you can put on the label.
Can it only say "Made in EU for my brand"?
Can it say Made in EU for “Your Company” EOOD, for example.
Does it have to say "Made by Evelyn 29"?
No, there is no need and we do not insist.
What mandatory elements must be present on the label?
After starting work, our colleague will send all the label elements.
Do you have capsules with a print or logo?
No, they can be ordered, with a minimum quantity of 1,000,000 capsules.
What is the delivery time for capsules with a customized color?
About 4-5 weeks.
What types of blister foil do you use (PVC, PVDC, Alu-Alu)?
We only work with PVC.
Is there a minimum quantity for Alu-Alu blisters?
We do not work with Alu-Alu blisters.
Can the blisters be customized with a logo?
Yes, the blisters are necessarily customized.
What shakers, spoons or accessories can be added to a box or bottle?
There can be a sticker in another language in all cases. A spoon or leaflet can be added if the product has a box.
What are the standard sizes of the sachets (single-layer, double-layer, triple-layer)?
We work only with triplex material.
What are the standard sizes of stand-up pouches?
There is no standard size, because it depends on the weight to be filled.
Do you offer amber, cobalt or black glass vials?
It is possible to order, with a minimum quantity of 50,000 pcs and delivered by ship, which is about 2-3 months of delivery. In this case, 100% payment is made for the vials and transport, and after delivery they are packaged. We do not have a warehouse to store the vials and you will have to store them in your warehouse.
Can a personalized tablet mold or tablet with engraving be made?
It can be made, with a production time of 2 months, the price is 3600 euros for the mold itself and there is an additional one-time fee for each production to reconfigure the machine with your individual mold of 480 euros.
Is there a limit to the size of the labels when applied automatically?
Yes, there is a maximum height of 15 cm.
Can the labels be matte, embossed or metallized?
They can be as you wish, but keep in mind that this will lead to an increase in the price and if you delay choosing a label, additional storage for the finished product will be charged.
Do you do test printing on sample vials?
Test printing can be done, the cost to the printing house is 164 euros.
What is the DPI requirement for printing?
The recommended one is 600.
Can labels with a "peel-off" layer be used?
They can be used, the official name is a multi-layer label, but it is about twice as expensive as a standard label.
Do you provide EAN codes?
Yes, an EAN-13 barcode from GS1 can be provided for an additional fee of 30 euros.
Can it be sent directly to the customer (dropshipping to the final customer)?
No, we do not deal with logistics. You can work with a fulfillment center that can do it for you.
Do you offer labeling of individual packages with a barcode?
An additional barcode sticker can be added for a fee of 0.25 euros/item.
Do you have discounts for larger quantities?
Yes, there are discounts for larger quantities, but they are individual, as it depends on the raw materials, the type of product and the type of packaging.
Do you have a branding/design assistant?
We have a designer with whom we work to create designs. The price for creating a label is 300 euros.
Can capsules and powder be placed together in one box?
They can be placed, but the powder must be in a different package (for example, doypack)
What colors of capsules are available without a custom order?
Transparent. All others are made to order.
Do you have a MOQ for printing boxes?
Yes, 500 pcs.

Do you use natural or artificial fragrances?
We use fragrances identical to natural ones.
Do you manufacture protein products?
Yeah. We also produce other sports supplements such as BCAA, EAA, fat burners, pre-workouts, etc.
Can we get a product sample? Is there a fee?
We offer samples of powder products from our catalogue free of charge. If you would like a sample of your own formula – there is a charge which is deducted from the final invoice on a subsequent order. We do not offer samples of encapsulated products.
Do you produce powdered products with taste?
Yeah.
Are there restrictions on tastes?
No, there are no technological limitations. It is only important that the taste fits the formula.
Do you manufacture tablets and tablet blisters?
Yeah. We have a production line for both tablets and tablet blisters.
Can the MOQ of 500 pcs be divided into different flavours?
No. Each flavor is mixed separately and considered a separate product. MOQ applies per flavour.
In what form can the nutritional supplements be?
They can be tablets, capsules, sachets and powders in doypack packaging.

Yes, but the taste will not be very good.
What should the technological specification for shake powder contain?
Yes, but the taste will not be very good.
Certificates
What certificates do you hold?
GMP, ISO and HACCP, FDA.
Does your production follow Swiss and European standards?
Yes, our products comply with EU standards. The customer must ensure that they comply with local legislation.
What proof do you provide for the quality of the raw materials?
The suppliers we work with provide us with certificates of analysis for the raw materials.
Who is responsible for the inspection?
There are 3 types of inspections:
1. Factory inspections by the RFSD. Then they inspect us as a manufacturer. Here we are responsible.
2. Warehouse inspection – here the warehouse is responsible. Keep in mind that the warehouse to which the finished product will be sent must have a food storage license. It cannot be sent to your personal address. This applies to Bulgaria.
3. Website inspection – here you are responsible. They check whether everything that is written on the website is in accordance with the regulations.
What is needed to sell the product abroad?
You can sell with registration in Bulgaria provided that you ship from a warehouse in Bulgaria. The label must be in the local language of the country where you will sell. Some of our partners make the label in English, but this is your responsibility.
What is needed for the product to enter pharmacies?
There is nothing else needed after production.
Does the company have to have a specific activity?
No, the company doesn’t have to have a specific activity. You can sell with any activity.
Can an individual sell supplements?
No, an individual cannot sell food supplements.
What documents do you issue after production?
We issue an invoice, a goods receipt with batches and expiration dates, and a declaration of conformity.
Where can customers sell their product?
You can sell the product anywhere. If it is offline, the site must be able to sell food. If it is online, you must be registered as a distance food retailer.
Do you check all raw materials in an accredited laboratory?
When sending raw materials, our suppliers send analyses from a laboratory.
Do you perform incoming control according to the COA of each raw material?
Yes, each raw material is checked against the COA certificate issued by the supplier upon receipt.
Can you provide a CoA for the final product?
It is not a standard procedure to issue a COA for the final product. It can be done, the price is 280 euros excluding VAT.
What is the shelf life that you can guarantee for certain formulas?
The standard is 2 years shelf life.
Can microbiology be performed on each batch?
It can be done, and this is an additional cost of 280 euros per batch.
Can you provide a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the product?
An SDS can be provided for the product, the cost of which is 430 euros.
Can you provide a Product Information File (PIF)?
For food supplements, a PIF is not required and is not issued.
What do we provide instead (for food supplements):
-Product specification.
-Composition and quantitative composition.
-Manufacturing specification / technological description.
-Batch and traceability documentation.
Can you help with registration in other countries outside the EU?
If you want to register the product in a country outside the EU, we cannot help, as we are not competent for the regulatory requirements in other countries.
Do you provide allergen and cross-contamination declarations?
Yes, they can be issued if needed.
Can a “Non-GMO” declaration be issued?
Yes, it can be issued.
Can a “Gluten-free”, “Sugar-free” certificate be issued?
We cannot issue a certificate, but a declaration can be issued.
What are the conditions for export outside the EU?
We have a standard NDA agreement that can be sent if needed.
Do you sign a formula exclusivity agreement?
We do not sign such agreements. The reason is that we have dozens of merchants and hundreds of inquiries come in per day and we do not have the administrative capacity to monitor whether we have produced this particular formula before.
What should the technological specification for shake powder contain?
What is the type of product does not change the HACCP and GMP requirements for technological documentation. They are the same as for all other products.
